KIOC : Karnataka Institute of Cricket Academy : Since its inception in 1996, Karnataka Institute of Cricket Coaching has taken giant steps in professional cricket coaching under the leadership of Irfan Sait, a coach of international repute and recognition. Irfan brings in 13+ Years of international coaching experience and exposure to KIOC. Irfan is an active member of coaching associations of India, England and Australia. Coaching programs are conducted year round, focusing on development of overall skills required for being a professional champion in budding young cricketers - Cricketing skills, Strategy, Tactics, Strength & Fitness Conditioning, Injury Prevention are comprehensively dealt with and imbibed in the wards. Wards are drafted in from an early age of 6 yrs up to 25 years and coached in all aspects of the game making their progress fruitful from club level to district to state level steady and gradual. Wards of KIOC have taken part and won all major championships of repute at various levels. Currently KIOC has 120 wards focusing on taking their cricketing skills to next level. Wards get to improve their cricketing skills using advanced coaching equipments including Digital Video Analysis equipment and software, speed check radars, bowling machines and Quality Gymnasiums. Indoor coaching facilities are available during summers. Special Coaching programs are planned for international visitors from USA, UK, Dubai, Canada and Sri Lanka. One on one coaching is also provided in special cases depending on player skill levels. Other issues related to accommodation/hostel facilities are taken care of for all overseas and outstation visitors at nominal costs.
